Welcome to Nirmala School
The school is under the management of the Presentation Sisters. They are involved in educational , social and other forms of service to humanity. Rev.Fr.Ravel,a missionary, founded the Congregation in 1853. He was a man ahead of his times and his sole aim was to help women, face challenges of life with an ideal weapon “Education”, when knowledge was considered to be the prerogative of the upper caste and especially of males only.

FOUNDER
Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Louis Ravel
Rev. Fr. Joseph Louis Ravel, the Founder of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Presentation of Mary was born on 24th August 1824 at Valeren, France, in a family of noble landlords. Rev. Fr. Ravel grew up in an aura of deep spirituality and entered the Major Seminary of the Foreign Missions. He was ordained as a Catholic Priest on 17th June 1848.

Vision
• Nirmala Mat. Hr. Sec. School, Coimbatore, which was started in JUNE 1976, aims at providing a quality education based on Christianity principles and to develop an all-round personality, impart value- based education, inculcate leadership qualities, bring out the inherent talents.

Teachers have the power to make or break a school. The teaching staff is regarded as the foundation of any educational society. It is their efforts to help kids learn and understand things that instil good habits and values in their students. The school has 50 qualified and experienced staff, with 1050 students.
Nirmala Mat. Hr. Sec. School, also offer a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports, skating, school band, acting, dancing, singing, and so on. The principal also gives a short lecture every day for about 10 minutes about etiquette, character development, moral education, respecting others, and gaining excellent values. As a result, the students can claim that what they are today is solely due to the school.
In contrast to other schools, Nirmala Mat. Hr. Sec. School, does not solely focus on academic performance. In other words, it emphasizes on the overall development of their students. Along with the academics, extra-curricular activities are also organized at the school. This is one of the main reasons why the students love the school as it does not measure everyone on the same scale. The hardworking staff gives time to each child to grow at their own pace which instils confidence in them. The school has all the facilities of a library, computer room, playground, basketball court and more, to ensure the students have it all at their disposal.
